2011  Building on our Success.....

After a fabulous year we now feel it is time to add a few more yummy flavours to our ranges, so after many trials and tastings (involving eating our way through many a muffin) we have replaced the "Iced & Spiced range" with the "Fruit & Nut range".  We have kept some of our favourites and our popular award winning Carrot Orange & Cinnamon Hug of course !  We have also added a new Rocky Road version to our "Hug" range - for those of you who love chocolate, nuts and all things sticky !!

We were delighted when, in January, our muffins were accepted by Food & Drink Devon - Love the flavour - a membership organisation which promotes high quality Devon produce.

2010 Muffin Madness - what a busy year ....

Having baked our way through 2010 we have been astounded how popular our muffins have been with everyone.  We have attended Food Festivals in and around the South West, set out our stall at special local markets and met some amazing people.  We have been asked to provide muffins for weddings & parties, and even have a loyal local following!

During the past year Muffin Heaven has also sent out thousands of muffins as surprise gifts to customers' families and friends.  We have received ,many kind and heart-warming thank yous and touching stories which have really made our day !

The summer brought us the Taste of the West awards, and we're very proud to have been presented with a Bronze award for our Carrot, Orange & Cinnamon Muffin Hug.

So it started with an idea…
Muffin Heaven is the result of a wonderful idea, which came to Denise whilst away on holiday in France. What kind of gift can you send a man? For women there are flowers and chocolates etc. It didn’t take long to realise it is true “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. Muffins seemed to fit perfectly, but these had to be no ordinary muffins, and they certainly did not have to be for men only. It became clear after some thought, that there should be lots of different flavours, some of them a little unusual, and that many taste better topped with a piece of heaven!!

You would probably not be reading this if a mutual friend had not introduced Sarah to Denise. Muffin Heaven gave Sarah the perfect opportunity to expand on her cake making hobby, and spend even more time in the kitchen perfecting these wonderful luxury muffins.

Muffin Credentials

Why is it when you look at the ingredient lists on a cake you buy in the shop it has double or treble the number of ingredients you would put in it at home!

We believe that luxury muffins should be baked with the finest ingredients – locally sourced whenever possible and without added preservatives. Our luxury muffins only include the best – milk, flour, eggs, butter, not forgetting the finest chocolate and wonderful Devon cream. Each muffin is lovingly hand decorated to compliment its character.

The result of this is that they only last 3 to 5 days and they really are best eaten on the day they are delivered. We think this is a plus – no artificial flavours or preservatives, giving you really tasty muffins.

All our muffins are produced from our own exclusive recipes, and are suitable for vegetarians. We cannot guarantee them to be nut free as they are produced in a kitchen which uses nuts. Some of the decorations used on our muffins contain natural colours and flavourings.

A full ingredients list is sent out with every box – you might be pleasantly surprised at how short it is!

I want to order more than 12 muffins?
Fantastic, please order the number you want in multiples of 4,8 or 12.
Can I place an order for several boxes to go to different delivery addresses?
You will need to place a separate order for each delivery address
Where else can I buy your muffins?
At the moment the only place you can buy Muffin Heaven muffins is online, unless you are lucky enough to see us promoting our business at Food Fayres or Festivals in Devon.
Are you going to produce any other flavours?
Absolutely and we would welcome any suggestions.
Can I have your muffins at my wedding?
At the moment we are unable to offer this service, however please do watch the website for any updates in this area.
Do you have a gluten free range?
At the moment we are unable to supply a gluten free range or any other dietary requirements, this may be something we will look into in the future.
Do you have a shop?
We do not have a shop or supply any supermarkets or food shops with our muffins. This may change in the future and we will list any retail outlets on our website.
Why can’t you deliver muffins on a Monday?
This would mean our muffins would be sitting in a warehouse over the weekend feeling unloved.
I live in the South West, can you supply me with muffins for a party or an event?
